The Gift of a Grateful Heart

I’m so excited to finally announce the release of my very own necklace design! I created the Grateful Heart necklace as a reminder to open your heart to gratitude.

Just as the lotus flower emerges from the mud each day to reach for the sunlight, we too go through our daily life with all its trials and tribulations, ever striving to turn our faces toward the sun.

The lotus blooms into a beautiful flower, its most perfect version of itself, unharmed by the mud which cannot contain it. But it is not unaffected. The flower is made stronger for having pushed its way up from the murky depths.

Similarly, we can choose to emerge from the challenges we face, to push through and come out, not unscathed, but stronger than we previously were. We always have a choice as to how we live our lives. We can live as if nothing is a miracle, or as if everything is a miracle.

This is the true gift of a grateful heart. Through the practice of gratitude, we can learn to focus on the good in our lives, even in difficult situations. As we transform ourselves and our lives, we send love, grace and gratitude out into the world. This transformation is represented by the ripples flowing out from under the lotus.

The Grateful Heart necklace is lovingly handcrafted from sterling silver and features a lotus blossom with a heart at its center and water ripples below. It comes with a sterling silver chain with lobster claw clasp, adjustable from 16 to 18 inches. The pendant itself is the size of a quarter, graceful yet significant in size.
